Definition of Managed Service
Under "Managed Service" we understand:
Together with the customer, we collaborate on the application hosting architecture
We automate the infrastructure and software delivery lifecycle
We are aware that the application is running fine
Should something go wrong, we fix it ourselves or escalate it to an appropriate supporting organization (cloud service provider, customer, developer, etc.)
We provide "standard" services: Monitoring, Backup, Metrics, Logs, Maintenance, 24/7 Incident Response and Support (Helpdesk), Consulting of customers when they need additional know-how
We work together with partners to provide deep expertise for things we don’t know
