Purpose
We have many tools and services throughout the company that are used by many or all VSHNeers or serve processes and workflows that are required by our business. Our engineers on the value stream teams could care about these systems, but they should focus on the work that generates our primary value and business. Non-technical people at VSHN often don’t know how to help themselves when it goes beyond the normal use of our tools.
VSHN needs dedicated capacity to lead Corporate IT tooling and process decisions, drive hands-on implementation, maintain an overview of tools and systems, administer software, and support VSHNeers.
Key Responsibilities
Governance of Corporate IT strategy and tooling selection
Ownership of all VSHN IT tools, both on-premise and SaaS, including maintenance and upgrades
Ownership and prioritization of the Corporate IT operational backlog
Requirements Engineering based on organization and business process needs, project planning and coordination
Corporate IT recurring and one-time cost ownership for budgeting, in collaboration with Finance Role
Operational tasks and user support
Security of Corporate IT systems and data
Stakeholders and Key Deliverables
- VSHNeers
IT tooling, working according to VSHNeer and buisness process requirements
Working office IT infrastructure
Usage support to IT Tooling
- PeopleOps
Support PeopleOps with on- and offboarding
- Finance
Budget numbers for overall VSHN budget
Cost-saving measures for unnecessary IT tools or resources.
- CISO and ISM Governance
Corp IT running secure systems and implementing controls within the requirements and constraints of our ISMS.
