Purpose

VSHN is a diversified company that offers various products and services in line with our vision. We break this down into actionable business plans that take into account market conditions, technological developments, external factors and operational and organizational challenges.

This role serves as the bridge between board and company and ensures company strategy, business objectives, alignment and creates the needed business accountability towards the inner circles (roles & teams) of VSHN.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure Board strategy is translated into a concrete business plan and company-wide strategy.

  • Drive that strategy progress is tracked by specific, measurable, aligned and time-bound goals

  • Monitoring actual progress and performance against company goals

  • Align Portfolio-level investment decisions and priorities.

  • Drive reaching consent if different product strategies and business goals are pulling in different directions or impacting each other.

  • Ensure business guardrails between roles are defined and complied with

  • Ensure reporting of strategic progress and financial performance to board

  • Ensure priorities are clear to all PMs and other major roles at VSHN (Finance, People, Org)

  • Ensure clarity on the overall commercial process

  • Clarity the business purpose and needs for all directly delegated domains within VSHN (purpose, responsibilities, dependencies and business constraints)

Business Areas (via their Product Manager)
  • Clear strategic direction and portfolio priorities

  • Arbitration when product strategies conflict

  • Alignment with business goals

  • Clarity on strategic changes, partnerships, and product and asset lifecycle

Finance Lead and Finance (Overview and Governance)
  • Strategic objectives and timeline for budget planning

  • Business case inputs for major investments

Corporate IT
  • Process owner of VSHN-wide IT needs for the business value flow
