Definition of Managed Service

Under "Managed Service" we understand:

  • Together with the customer, we collaborate on the application hosting architecture

  • We automate the infrastructure and software delivery lifecycle

  • We are aware that the application is running fine

  • Should something go wrong, we fix it ourselves or escalate it to an appropriate supporting organization (cloud service provider, customer, developer, etc.)

  • We provide "standard" services: Monitoring, Backup, Metrics, Logs, Maintenance, 24/7 Incident Response and Support (Helpdesk), Consulting of customers when they need additional know-how

  • We work together with partners to provide deep expertise for things we don’t know
