Corporate Social Responsibility Policy

Purpose

Social and environmental responsibility as a business is essential and is increasingly demanded by customers, investors, regulators, and employees. More importantly, it aligns with VSHN values, and we see it as a need to do our part for a better world. By implementing a CSR policy, we can guide our actions and foster our reputation, contribute positively to society, and mitigate risks associated with unethical practices.

As we are an organization with distributed responsibilities and leadership, we encourage all VSHNeers to bring forward and drive initiatives and suggestions for improvement, raise possible objections in decision-making and to ongoing activities that fall within the scope of this policy, adhere personally to this policy, and actively contribute to its further development.

Environmental Sustainability

We recognize the importance of environmental sustainability and strive to minimizing our impact on the environment. To achieve this, we will:

  • Comply with all relevant environmental laws, regulations, and standards.

  • Continuously seek opportunities to reduce waste, conserve resources, and minimize pollution in our operations.

  • Promote the implementation of energy-efficient practices, optimisation and reduction of IT processes that consume energy unnecessarily.

  • Encourage responsible sourcing and procurement practices to minimize environmental harm.

Community Engagement

We are committed to being active and responsible members of the communities where we operate. To fulfill this commitment, we will:

  • Support local community initiatives, charities, and organizations through financial contributions, volunteer efforts, and in-kind donations.

  • Support open source software projects through contributions and financing.

  • Seek partnerships to address community needs and promote sustainable development.
